Log Cabin Luxury Retreat with Hot Tub for Romantic Escape or Family Get-Away | Cabin in Pinetop, AZ

3 Bedroom Cabin with View, Ocean View and Barbecue
Wake up to cool mountain air and the aroma of pine forests in a log cabin home in Pinetop-Lakeside. Our family’s treasured retreat can be your vacation getaway for a romantic escape or an extended family adventure in Arizona’s White Mountains.
At 7,200 feet in elevation, our White Mountain Chalet as we call it is a spacious and comfortable place to relish simple pleasures year-round. It’s situated near the Pinetop Country Club, but surrounded by the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. This makes it a great spot to enjoy the outdoors. It’s popular with mountain bikers, hikers, skiers and nature lovers and there are over 65 lakes and streams for fishing, boating or picnicking. Enjoy a drive in the mornings or late afternoons and you might spot elk, pronghorn antelope or wild turkey. Experience the change of colors in fall. Take a stroll along a lakeshore, plan an adventure, or just stay close to home and relax.
Comforts of Home Included
The Chalet is fully equipped so you have all that’s needed to focus on good times. When you arrive, there’s generous parking and a keyless entry for a hassle-free welcome. No further check in is needed. The first thing you notice about this Pinetop cabin is the great room. It has beautiful wood floors and a wraparound, lodge pole staircase and loft. Rising from the center of the room is a floor to ceiling gas fireplace of stacked stone. Natural daylight streams in from the many windows and skylights. Picture yourself cozying up on the sectional sofa with a book or that special someone. If there’s time, catch the big game together on the HD screen with cable. Younger guests might prefer the board games, puzzles, XBOX and TV in the upper loft.
The first floor primary suite hosts a fluffy, king sized bed and private primary bath with his and her sinks. Two more guest rooms upstairs with queen-sized beds share a guest bath. All you need to pack is a toothbrush - the bedding, linens, towels, and bath supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body soap, paper, hair dryers, etc.) are provided. There’s a washer and dryer available for extended stays on the first level.
Great times include great meals. If you’re dining in, the kitchen is where the socializing begins. A large country island surrounds the cooking spot and is ideal for food prep, serving meals or tending bar. We’ve included all the essentials; a refrigerator, a gas stove, an electric griddle, a microwave, waffle iron, blender, and a crockpot are here for your use. Open the cabinets for cookware, glasses and eating utensils. When it’s time to clean up, the dishwasher will make life easier. For family-style meals, there’s also a formal dining area just steps from the kitchen.
The last and perhaps best amenities are found outdoors. There’s a gas barbeque for grilling of course, and deck chairs where you can soak up the peace and quiet. If you’re really looking to relax though, we suggest slipping into the hot tub. That’s truly therapeutic. Or if you’re looking to liven up a crowd, get a fire going in the outdoor ring, do some stargazing and char up some marshmallows for smores.
Local Experiences Await
A secluded cabin is wonderful of course, but we give you a choice with high-speed Wi-Fi. Are you missing the taste of Thai food or a good steak? Check out the local Pinetop restaurant options. Do you have some clubs in the trunk? Set a tee time for one of the six public golf courses and three private ones in the area. You can check out the local trails, visit the nearby Hon-Dah Casino, or plan an adventure to the Sunrise Ski Park just 25 minutes away where you can ride a zip-line or take in the chair lift to new heights in summer and in winter the same slopes are great for family friendly skiing, snowboarding, tubing or taking in a sleigh ride.
The White Mountain Chalet is where our family goes to recharge so I speak from experience when I say you will depart with a new bounce in your step. This is our second home and we want to share this incredible experience with responsible renters with a light touch.
A two-night minimum is required and three nights on holiday weekends. Weekly rates are available and extended stays negotiable.
